A pedestrian was hit and killed by a pickup truck in Presque Isle over the weekend.
Police say Shelby Sanborn, 67, died after she was hit by a 2015 GMC Sierra 1500 pickup on Ginn Road around 6:20 p.m. Saturday.
The investigation into what caused the crash is ongoing. Authorities have not charged the 18-year-old driver of the pickup truck, according to the Presque Isle Police Department.
“No determination regarding fault or potential charges has been made at this time,” police Chief Chris Hayes said in a written statement Tuesday. “We are not releasing additional investigative details while the investigation remains active.”
