Marie B. Tirabassi
PORTLAND – Marie B. Tirabassi, 95, passed away on Sept. 26, 2026, at the Maine Veterans Home in Scarborough. Marie was born on March 17, 1931, in Van Buren, daughter of the late Louise McIntosh.
Marie was predeceased by her husband, Albert A. Tirabassi; sister, Theresa Fox.
She is survived by her children, Anthony Tirabassi, Michael and his wife Sharon Tirabassi, Tina and her husband Jack Kelly, and Ed and his wife Kelly Tirabassi; grandchildren, David, Katie, and Peter, Joseph, Amy, and Ann, Eddie Jr. and Angela; great-grandchildren, Naomi, Nico, Vivian, and Valerie, Izack, and Gracelyn; sister, Marie Basmajian, and many extended family members.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to the Maine Veterans Home in Scarborough for their care of Marie in her final days.
Family and friends are invited to visit from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 8, at the Conroy-Tully Walker Funeral Homes of South Portland, 1024 Broadway, South Portland. Graveside services will be held in private with Marie’s family.
