BIDDEFORD — Maine’s all-female improv group “You Should Smile More,” that premiered at Maine Rep in May has extended their relationship with Maine Rep/The Chamber of Comedy and returns to the Maine Rep stage for their fifth installment with their special blend of improv and stand-up comedy at 8 p.m. Friday, Sept. 27.
Tickets are just $10 and can be purchased online at MaineRepertoryTheater.com or by calling 205-6201. The group’s appearances typically sell out so purchasing your tickets in advance is encouraged.
Maine Rep is an intimate theater company producing original comedy and serving soda, craft and domestic beer, wine, popcorn and candy. It also encourages their patrons to bring along a non-perishable food item to add to their collection of food that they then distribute to the Biddeford Food Pantry and the Saco Food Pantry.
Maine Rep is handicap accessible, fully air-conditioned, and located at 40 Main St. in the Pepperell Mill in downtown Biddeford.
Maine Rep’s in-house improv group, The American Chamber of Comedy returns to their regular Saturday night 8 p.m. slot. This weekend’s cast will feature Bob LeBlanc, Samuel Kuykendall, Tuck Tucker, Mary Boucher, and David Hanright, with hosting duties by Maine Rep/Chamber co-founder and director, Steve Burnette.
