The biggest opportunity?

Maine faces a serious housing shortage, particularly true in Penobscot County around the Bangor area. This is also an opportunity: fast-track housing projects, expand the tax base by courting business investment, and make life more affordable for everyone.

If you could change one thing about how the town/county functions, what would it be and why?

Did not respond.

Do you support more development – i.e. more housing construction and business building in your town/county? Young people are finding it increasingly difficult to rent or buy, which will stymie growth across the board. We must build more housing, of all types, to address this structural issue; and make it easier for businesses to invest in our communities, to offset the tax burden on homeowners.

"voter_guide_candidate_years_in_municipality":1
[564
455
post-13955","candidate","type-candidate","status-publish","hentry","vg_party-republican","vg_residence_municipality-hampden
["GET
