The people of York County will vote on whether an elected treasurer position should be abolished.

Voting "Yes" Means:

The treasurer position — which has historically been chosen by voters — would be eliminated, and instead become a position appointed internally by York County officials.

Voting "No" Means:

There would be no change to the way the position is filled via public elections.
