Downloading, printing and filling out the individual application , then sending it to:
Press Herald Toy Fund

South Portland, ME 04106
Those who need to pick up or drop off applications or donations in person can do so at 295 Gannett Drive, South Portland.
Individuals need to apply by Dec. 1 so that applications can be processed. The Toy Fund will make every effort to accommodate all children in need, but gifts cannot be guaranteed for late applicants.
We’ll process your application and if you qualify, we’ll contact you starting in mid-November explaining where and when to pick up the gifts. Gifts must be picked up as scheduled. The location, days and hours of operation will be included in the letter or phone message.
BE A GROUP LEADER
Group leaders represent agencies and organizations that solicit applications from clients and community members who need assistance to access the fund.
Group applications were due Nov. 3, so no more are being taken for 2023. After we process the applications and pack the gifts, group leaders pick them up at our warehouse and bring them to distribution centers that are convenient for the recipients. There are many partners in this effort, schools and social service organizations. These groups do good work and are a joy to work with each year. Contact us at toyfund@pressherald.com for information about groups in our service area.
