West End to Downtown
On the other side of the bridge, the streets of downtown Portland offered smooth riding in spite of some traffic congestion.
The Home Stretch
A short climb from Gorham's Corner to Free Street and the end of the commute is in sight: the One City Center Parking garage, where bike racks offer commuters a secure place to store their vehicles out of the elements.
