Mikayla reports on the Midcoast region of Maine, writing about everything from local artists, to environmental issues, to affordable housing. She is passionate about sharing the stories of community members who may feel unheard. When not reporting, she can be found spending time with her dogs or at her local coffee shop. Past journalism experience includes the Greenfield Recorder and Editor in Chief of The Sophian, the newspaper of Smith College.
