During her time with the Press Herald, Gillian has told the stories of everyday Mainers, tackled issues of poverty and hunger and covered the historic marijuana legalization campaign. She has won regional and national awards for her work, including the Joseph D. Ryle Award for Geriatrics from the National Press Club for her coverage of senior hunger issues in Maine. Gillian grew up in Ogunquit and graduated from the University of Southern Maine.
