Couple arrested on Congress St.,charged with dealing heroin, crack
Two people face charges of trafficking in crack cocaine and heroin following their arrest in a Congress Street parking lot Wednesday night.
Agents with the Maine Drug Enforcement Agency working with Portland and Westbrook police charged Carl Langston, 22, of South Portland and Carol Vining, 22, of Cumberland, police said.

Turnpike traffic slows after taxi hits guardrail in Gray
The Maine Turnpike is warning motorists about a crash in the northbound passing lanes in Gray near mile marker 61. The turnpike reported the crash at 12:15 p.m. Police say nobody was injured in the crash when a taxi collided with the guardrail, but traffic slowed as it was reduced to one lane.
