Letter to the editor: Excess of managers is part of Portland’s spending problem

Let’s see: The city of Portland has a city manager, two assistant city managers, a mayor and now an assistant mayor at $64,000 per year. This seems to me absurd. I wonder why taxes in Portland are so high. Ed Reagan Portland
