I thought it would be fun to just do a short entry of the snow totals around the state and much of New England today. From Gorham to Boston to Hartford, CT, this was a storm that many of us will never forget. The good news is that most of us kept our power and the snow was not heavy so cleaning it up won’t take too long. Just imagine if this had been heavy wet snow! I would love to hear from you on what you thought of the storm and any other questions about weather. You can find me on Twitter at Growing Wisdom. Just click here. You might find this interesting. This wasn’t an official blizzard for everyone in New England, although it was here in Maine. A blizzard is defined as 3 hours or more of 35 mile per hour wind combined with one-quarter mile visibility (or less) and it must last for 3 consecutive hours. That never occured in this storm in most of Massachusetts. That’s just another fun fact from the big snow or blizzard of 2013.
