SANTA CRUZ, Calif. — Terry Rozier scored 23 points, Jordan Mickey added 16 points, and the Maine Red Claws used a third-quarter rally to pull away from the Bakersfield Jam on Thursday for a 110-97 win in the NBA D-League Showcase at Kaiser Permanente Arena.

Leading 52-48 at halftime, the Red Claws scored the first six points of the third quarter and went on to outscore the Jam 32-18 in the third for a 84-66 lead.

Maine increased its lead to 96-72 in the fourth on consecutive 3-pointers by Rozier and Omari Johnson, and 2-pointers by Coron Williams and Levi Randolph. Bakersfield never threatened the rest of the way.

Malcolm Miller finished with 15 points, Johnson and Coty Clark each had 12 and Williams and Randolph chipped in 10 apiece for the Red Claws.

Clarke also had 13 rebounds, and Mickey had 10 rebounds and four blocked shots.

Rozier, Randolph and Clarke each finished with five assists.

The showcase features all of the league’s 19 teams playing two games over five days with all but one game having teams from opposing conferences.
