David Rimmer Scarborough
ARUNDEL – David Rimmer Scarborough, of Arundel, passed away on Dec. 4, 2023.
He was born July 7, 1956, in Williamstown, Mass. to William B. and Betsey Rimmer Scarborough. The family moved to West Simsbury, Conn. in 1959, and that was “home” for many years. Part of each summer was joyfully spent in Kennebunkport, where both of his grandparents spent their summers. David attended Robinson School in West Hartford, Conn. and the Holderness School in, Holderness, N.H.
In 1985, David moved to Maine and lived there for the remainder of his life. He made many lifelong friends and was so happy living in “The Port”.
David leaves to grieve, his sisters DeeAnn Krahl, Katie Bateson and his brother, Bill Scarborough; as well as his six nieces and nephews, Liza Reen (Matt), Jonathan Krahl (Taylor), William Bateson (Heather), Whitney Bateson (Dylan), Amy Bateson; and his great-niece, Sadie Bateson.
He was predeceased by his beloved nephew, Alexander Bateson.
David will be with us in our prayers. The loss is profound.
