Caitlin Ouellette has been promoted to vice president at Gorham Savings Bank. Ouellette has worked on several marketing projects and managed the bank’s LaunchPad event.
Ali AL Dhamen has been promoted to vice president at Gorham Savings Bank. AL Dhamen joined GSB in 2018 as a risk management analyst and was promoted into his current role of information security officer in April 2019.
NEW HIRES
Serena Amlie has been hired as an ESOP client adviser at Spinnaker Trust. She holds the Accredited Senior Appraiser designation from the American Society of Appraisers and has a degree in finance from Xavier University.
Kelsey Lowe has been hired as an ESOP account administrator at Spinnaker Trust. Previously, she worked for Actuarial Designs & Solutions and EPIC Retirement Plan Services. Lowe has her degree in business administration from the University of Maine.
Kyle Pochini has been hired as director of advisory services at ATX Advisory. Pochini joins ATX following a 12-year career at RSM US LLP, where he served as a director in RSM’s technology advisory services practice.
Pamela Bennett has been hired by United Way of Southern Maine as the senior program manager for the Greater Portland Workforce Initiative. Bennett’s background includes small business ownership, high volume retail leadership, and nonprofit program management.
Tia Morrell has been hired as human resources associate at United Way of Southern Maine. Morrell has previously held administrative and managerial roles in the retail and health care industry and is a licensed real estate agent.
Nicole Mathuin has been hired as as database manager at United Way of Southern Maine. She holds a degree in business administration from St. Joseph’s College and certifications in Power BI, Alteryx Designer Core, Tableau and Amazon Web Services.
Oyebanjo Ogunlela has been hired by New Ventures Maine as a small business adviser. Previously, he served on the faculty of business and management sciences at Cape Peninsula University of Technology in Cape Town, South Africa. Ogunlela holds a doctorate in business administration from the University of KwaZulu-Natal, Durban, South Africa, an MBA from Lagos State University, Nigeria, and a master’s degree in global policy from the University of Maine.
Dion Olmstead has been hired as a microenterprise specialist at New Ventures Maine. Olmstead owned the Franklin Restoration Co. in Farmington from 2004 to 2016 while also running Maine Mountain Creamery in New Sharon. Dion earned a degree in environmental design from College of the Atlantic and a graduate certificate in business from the University of Maine.
Destin DeCambre has been hired as a microenterprise specialist at New Ventures Maine. Previously, DeCambre was the office manager for Jalbert Auto and Auto Body in Presque Isle. She has also worked as a safety adviser at Falcon Transportation and a pharmacy technician at City Drug Store in Presque Isle. DeCambre has a degree in business administration with a concentration in entrepreneurship from Southern New Hampshire University and an associate of arts degree in liberal studies from University of Maine, Presque Isle.
ACHIEVEMENTS
Anne Lancaster has been given the 2023 State Star award by The Maine Small Business Development Centers. She works with entrepreneurs and small businesses in York County to start, sustain and grow their businesses. In the four years she has been with the Maine SBDC, she has spent approximately 3,500 hours advising over 900 clients. Lancaster is a certified Clifton Strengths coach and works as a business adviser at the Maine SBDC at the University of Southern Maine.
