Joanne was predeceased by her father, Leo Albert Proulx.

Her love and caring spirit live on through her husband, Jimmy David Costa Sr.; her children JanAlicia (Andrew) Ricker, Jimmy (Rebecca) Costa Jr., and Julie (George) Kittredge; her grandchildren Devin and Lucy Ricker, Lydia and Jack Costa, and Ellie Kittredge; her mother, Maryann (Charles) Proulx; and siblings Rebecca (Louie) Pirone, Laurie (Warren) MacDonald, and James (Ginger) Proulx. Joanne’s genuine love and devotion for her family were unmatched, and she cherished her grandchildren more than anything in the world.

Her caring nature extended beyond her immediate family and she cultivated deep friendships with a wide network of people. In times of joy and sorrow, Joanne always put others first, offering compassion and support whenever needed. Her acts of kindness and selflessness endeared her to everyone fortunate enough to have known her. As we mourn her passing, we find solace in the beautiful memories she created and the love she shared.
