Hires, promotions, appointments

Brandon Boey of Falmouth was promoted to senior vice president, general counsel and director of compliance at Camden National Bank. Boey joined the bank in 2020, previously serving as managing counsel at Unum working in regulatory counseling and advocacy, and product compliance. He has also represented multinational companies with Willkie Farr & Gallagher and worked in investment banking for Updata Capital and UBS Investment Bank.

Wai-Houng Leung was promoted to chief information officer of InterMed in Portland. He joined InterMed in 2020 as director of information technology. InterMed also promoted Theresa Falcon to chief operating officer. She joined the company as director of strategic operations in 2020 and worked on InterMed’s COVID-19 response, including the organization’s vaccine clinic and one of the state’s first drive-through testing sites.

Jeffrey Howard joins Maine Medical Partners – Urology in South Portland. He has published articles on kidney, prostate, bladder and testicular cancers and has an interest in surgical quality and process improvement for these cancers. Elizabeth Linnell joins MMP’s Women’s Health division in Portland and at Maine Medical Center. She previously worked at St. Mary’s Regional Medical Center in Lewiston and has been a clinical instructor at the Tufts University School of Medicine for over 10 years. Meredith Baker joins Pediatric Surgery at MMP and previously worked at New York-Presbyterian Hospital. She focuses on minimally invasive surgery, pediatric, thoracic and neonatal surgery.

Atlantic Federal Credit Union has opened a new branch in Westbrook on Riverside Street, a completion of the construction begun in 2021.
