Hires, promotions, appointments
Marie Audett and Kathreen Lee have joined Maine Medical Partners‘ Surgical Care Casco Bay center as colorectal surgeons. Jordan Malenke joins the otolaryngology center and also works as a head and neck surgeon. Christopher Tuohy is a new interventional cardiologist at the cardiology center.

Green Tree Realty of Portland is now part of Portside Real Estate Group of Portland. Green Tree broker-owner Veronica Schneider and agents Ed Mosher, Shawn Boulet, Anne Daigle and Lynne Demers have joined Portside.
Marc Gosselin, executive director for sports tourism and community partnerships for the city of Auburn, has been named to the Maine Sports Commission board of directors.

Avesta Housing has hired two new members to its leadership team. Jessica Moninski is the new human resources director. She is an attorney and most recently served as director of programs at LearningWorks in Portland. Jake Varney is the director of information systems and previously served as IT director at Portland Housing Authority and IT manager for Cumberland County Federal Credit Union.
Giving back
Town and Country Federal Credit Union raised a record $58,000 for the Maine Children’s Cancer Program at their 29th annual C-U Swish-Out Childhood Cancer basketball tournament March 5 at the University of Southern Maine Gorham campus.
