Matt Yordy

Scot Gillespie

Matt Yordy and Scot Gillespie have joined the senior leadership team at Covetrus Inc., a Portland-based provider of animal-health technology, products and services. Yordy has been named president of Covetrus, North America, bringing more than 25 years of health care industry experience to the role. Most recently, he served as president, strategic accounts, and senior vice president, U.S. operating strategy, for McKesson Corp. He holds a bachelor’s degree in economics and finance from Creighton University and an MBA from Queens University of Charlotte. Gillespie, who has over 25 years of experience in the technology industry, has been named chief technology officer within Covetrus’ Global Technology Solutions group. He joins Covetrus from Salesforce Inc., where he served as executive vice president and general manager of the company’s commerce cloud business. He has a bachelor’s degree in management information systems from National Louis University in Chicago and an MBA from Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management.

Lucretia Stargell

Central Maine Healthcare has hired Lucretia Stargell as a senior vice president and the president of Rumford Hospital and Bridgton Hospital, both members of the Lewiston-based health care system. She will begin her new role on March 29. Stargell brings years of experience in executive-level hospital administration, most notably in leadership positions at rural hospitals and a critical access hospital in North Carolina with Duke LifePoint Healthcare. She holds an MBA from Western Carolina University and a bachelor’s degree in art history and communications from Hollins University in Virginia. She is a fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives and is a certified professional in patient safety from the Institute for Healthcare Improvement.

Laurie Halls

Legacy Properties Sotheby’s International Realty has added Laurie Halls to the firm’s brokerage team. She earned a real estate license in 2020 and an associate broker license in 2022. Previously, Halls served for 14 years in the oncology department at Mid Coast Hospital’s Parkview campus in Brunswick.

Lelia De Andrade

The Maine Department of the Secretary of State has named Lelia De Andrade as deputy secretary of state for equity and inclusion, effective March 29. De Andrade previously served at the Maine Community Foundation since 2008, most recently as vice president of community impact, a role that included work developing and leading organizational efforts focused on racial equity. She holds a Ph.D. from Syracuse University, and has worked as associate director of the Center for the Prevention of Hate Violence in Portland and as an assistant professor of sociology and Africana studies at Bowdoin College. In 2020 and 2021 she served as co-chair of the City of Portland’s Racial Equity Steering Committee.

Nick Pham

Nick Pham has been hired as head of program management at Constant, a Falmouth-based loan management software solutions provider. Pham was most recently director, IT program management, at ACA Group.

Charon Curtis

Maritime Energy has promoted Charon Curtis to senior vice president. She joined Maritime in 2007 as operations manager for the Maritime Farms convenience stores and as a member of the senior management team. Her new responsibilities include overseeing the fuel, propane, transport, customer service, branch offices and service departments. The Rockland-based company sold its 13 Maritime Farms stores in December and is now focused on its core energy business, serving Knox, Lincoln, Waldo, Hancock and Kennebec counties.

Jaime Hannan

Jaime Hannan, a personal insurance account assistant at Allen Insurance and Financial, recently achieved the designation of accredited customer service representative in personal lines from The Institutes, an insurance education organization. Hannan has been with the company for six years. She is based in the Rockland office of Allen Insurance and Financial, which also has locations in Belfast, Camden, Southwest Harbor and Waterville.
