Saco Main Street and Heart of Biddeford are teaming up to help make the region more welcoming to entrepreneurs and small businesses.
They’re asking existing small business owners and entrepreneurs to take a survey to help them determine how $50,000 in funding gets spent in the community.
Heart of Biddeford and Saco Main Street officials say the survey should take about 10-15 minutes to complete; the deadline is Feb. 12. All individual responses will be kept confidential, and results will be shared only in aggregate and anonymized form. The survey can be found at: https://heartofbiddeford.org/eesurvey/
The two Main street entities say survey takers may also win a $150 prize, with the winner having the choice between gift cards to local businesses or a donation to a local Saco or Biddeford nonprofit of the winner’s choosing. To participate in the drawing, send a photo or screenshot of the survey’s final slide to equity@heartofbiddeford.org. If you do not know how to get in touch with either agency they have pledged to help.
In an effort to hear from as many of the region’s entrepreneurs as possible, the two Main Street organizations say the survey is also available in French and Arabic.
