I support Democrat Henry Ingwersen in his run for Maine Senate. I’ve witnessed Henry’s proactive work from a distance and personally.
Four years ago, after suffering a work-related concussion, I was diagnosed with leukemia and reaching exhaustion from chronic depression and post-traumatic stress disorder. Henry, then a state representative, reached out within the month, supported me with check-in phone calls and advised me in navigating Maine’s MainePERS system.
This would have been a difficult feat on my own; Henry walked me through it. He remained by my side throughout the process. I stand beside Henry because he is real. He shows up, rolls up his sleeves and gets to work using his lived and learned knowledge. He possesses strong collaboration skills in his work for Maine and its people.
I support Henry and urge others to do the same. He offers so much, and these offerings are grounded in sincere care and honesty.
