I invite others to join me in voting to reelect Democratic Sen. Eloise Vitelli on Nov. 8. Eloise has served the people of Maine both as a legislator and through New Ventures Maine.
She supports increasing the minimum wage so hardworking Mainers working full time have the chance to earn a livable wage.
She cosponsored the Patients First health care reform package. As she said, “For too long, our health care system has put profits before patients’ well-being.”
She believes that abortion is a human right. She stated that legal abortion must remain available to people across the country. In Maine, she has opposed all bills in the Maine Legislature that sought to undermine access to abortion in the state.
Concerned for Maine’s environment, Sen. Vitelli sponsored legislation to invest in clean-energy jobs and increase Maine’s use of renewable-energy sources.
