Sen. Collins, stand up for ethics and make sure this racist stain has no place in the Republican party.
Trump admitted recently that he wanted Mike Pence to overturn the election. One that he had lost by some 7 million votes and 74 electoral votes. He promotes the lie that there was fraud that kept him from winning the election. His attorney general, Mr. Barr, refutes any fraud that would have changed the outcome of the election.
He has repeatedly cozied up to far right-wing extremist groups. In Charlottesville, they were good people, Nazis marching in the streets chanting “Jews will not replace us.” He asked the Proud Boys to stand by. Trump incited violence on Jan. 6, 2021, when he told the crowd they need to fight like hell and march on Congress.
Lately, he told a crowd that hospitals are killing white people. Not giving them the vaccine. Saying that white people go to the back of the line when it comes to health care.
Meanwhile, Sen. Collins equivocates on if she would support him in a future run for the presidency. Sen. Collins, please stand with other Republicans that have denounced such rhetoric from Donald Trump.
