YARMOUTH — Logan Brown made four 3-pointers and finished with 18 points as Brunswick stayed unbeaten in girls’ basketball with a 42-40 win over Yarmouth on Monday night.
Sophia Morin chipped in seven points for Brunswick (9-0).
Maya Panozzo hit four 3-pointers and had 16 points for Yarmouth (6-3). Katelyn D’Appolonia posted 11 points.
ST. DOMINIC 39, SACOPEE VALLEY 36: Jessie Zimmerman scored 21 points to lead the Saints (3-5) over the Hawks (1-9) in Hiram.
Charli Apodaca added 10 points for St. Dom’s.
Emma Boulanger scored 15 points for Sacopee Valley and Brooke Landry had 13.
BOYS’ BASKETBALL
FALMOUTH 57, MARSHWOOD 49: Brady Coyne scored 25 points as the Navigators (7-2) topped the Hawks (7-3) in South Berwick.
Jack Stowell followed up with 16 points for Falmouth.
Trevor Wozny led Marshwood with 13 points and Jason Singer had 11 points.
SANFORD 60, THORNTON ACADEMY 59: Zach McMurty and Justin Kennedy each scored 15 points as the Spartans (7-2) edged the Trojans (9-3) in Saco.
Connor Curcio scored 10 points for Sanford.
Cody Ruff led TA with a game-high 16 points. Cody Bowker had 14 points, Will Davies had 11 and Braden Camire had 10.
FREEPORT 52, BRUNSWICK 46: Danny Casale’s five 3-pointers and 17 points powered the Falcons (6-5) over the Dragons (2-8) in Brunswick.
Blaine Cockburn had 11 points for Freeport.
Thomas Harvey scored a game-high 20 points for Brunswick. Quinten McCaffrey had 11 points.
PINE TREE ACADEMY 56, NORTH HAVEN 30: Alden Thacker scored a game-high 19 points to lift the Breakers (2-6) over the Hawks (0-6) in Freeport.
Ben Ndamukunda ended with 11 points for PTA. Silas Yeaton had eight points.
Jack Brown led North Haven with 18 points.
PORTLAND 65, WINDHAM 53: Portland (8-3) bolted to a 9-2 lead and never trailed in beating the visiting Eagles (2-8).
Wani Donato had 16 points for the Bulldogs. Pitia Donato and Jeissey Khamis each added 14.
The Eagles we’re paced by 20 points from Will Mannette and 16 from Nick Garrison.
LINCOLN ACADEMY 55, WATERVILLE 49: Tucker Stiles’ 15 points and six rebounds helped the Eagles (2-7) down the Panthers (1-11) in Newcastle.
Gabe Hagar finished with 14 points and six rebounds. Lucas Houghton had 11 points and seven rebounds. Tyson Ball had three points, 12 rebounds and four assists for Lincoln Academy.
Waterville’s Liam Von Oesen led all scorers with 25 points.
MT. ABRAM 74, BOOTHBAY 47: Wyatt Siemenski scored 16 points, including four 3-pointers, to lead host Roadrunners (6-6) over to the Seahawks (4-7)
Adam Luce added 13 points for Mt. Abram and Trevor Phelps had 12 and Payton Mitchell 11.
Boothbay was led by Gryffin Kristan with 16 points and Matt Sullivan with 14.
GIRLS’ HOCKEY
LEWISTON 9, GREELY 1: All five seniors scored on Senior Night as host Lewiston (19-1) overpowered the Rangers (3-7).
Kristen LaChance scored a pair of goals and Avaya Desjardins scored the first goal of her high school career.
Other scorers for Lewiston: Leah Landry, Sadie Morgan, Lilly Gish, Charlotte Cloutier, Rebecca Lussier and Toree St. Hilaire.
Lily Rawnsley scored for Greely.
CAPE ELIZABETH/WAYNFLETE/SOUTH PORTLAND 4, EDWARD LITTLE/LEAVITT/POLAND 4: The Capers (6-2-2) and Red Hornets (3-4-2) tied at Auburn.
The Red Hornets got goals from Alyssa Prosser, Helena Moon, Megan Lachance and Eve Martineau.
Delaney Whitten, Catie Lee, Libby Hooper and Marina Bassett scored for Cape.
