STANDISH — Charlotte Donovan pitched a no-hitter in Game 1, then went 5 for 5 with three home runs and 10 RBI in Game 2 as Biddeford swept a softball doubleheader Saturday against Bonny Eagle, winning 14-0 and 25-5.

The Tigers (7-0) finished with 27 hits in the second game, including four by Chantelle Bouchard and three apiece by Anna Lavigne, Baylor Wilkinson, Hannah Gosselin and Laura Perreault. Bouchard and Wilkinson homered in each game, and Bouchard had five RBI in the opener.

Bella Marier went 2 for 3 with two RBI for Bonny Eagle (1-4) in Game 2.

SOUTH PORTLAND, THORNTON ACADEMY SPLIT: Delaney Whitten’s two-run single in the bottom of the seventh inning gave South Portland (3-3) a 6-5 win over visiting Thornton Academy (4-2) in a doubleheader opener.

In Game 2, Abby Miner went 3 for 4 with three RBI and Jessica Dow was 3 for 5 with two doubles, leading Thornton to a 15-6 victory.

Chloe Grant, Ella Nickerson and Emilie Way each had a pair of hits for South Portland.

PORTLAND, FALMOUTH SPLIT: Olivia Rogers went 3 for 3 with two RBI, and Eva Chace blasted a home run as Falmouth (2-5) secured a doubleheader split against visiting Portland (1-5), winning 8-5  in Game 2 after the Bulldogs rolled to a 15-2 victory in the opener.

Cassadie Armstrong threw a two-hitter with eight strikeouts and went 3 for 5 to lead Portland in Game 1. Vanessa Connolly and Caroline Lerch also had three hits apiece.

KENNEBUNK, NOBLE SPLIT:
Kennebunk’s Maddie Pike homered twice in Game 1, including a grand slam, then homered again in Game 2, but the Rams (4-4) settled for a doubleheader split against Noble (3-5) in North Berwick.

Pike finished with six RBI in the opener, which Kennebunk won 11-4. Mattie Orendorf added three RBI and Lucy Stone hit a solo homer.

Allie Moore went 3 for 4 for Noble.

In Game 2, winning pitcher Lexi Volinsky led off the first inning with a home run and Reece Rogers belted a three-run homer, leading Noble to a 13-7 victory.

Kiersten Davis, Paige Bronkema and Tianna Valle each had two hits and two RBI for Noble. Kennebunk got home runs from Pike and Orendorf.

BRUNSWICK 13, GREELY 12: The Dragons (5-1) scored two unearned runs in the top of the seventh after letting a big lead slip away, then threw out the potential tying run at the plate in the bottom of the seventh to secure a win over the Rangers (2-3) in Cumberland.

Sophia Morgan had two hits and four RBI for Brunswick, which had leads of 9-2 and 11-5 before Greely moved ahead 12-11 with a six-run rally in the sixth. Hailey Stewart’s two-run double highlighted Greely’s comeback.

CAPE ELIZABETH 8, MORSE 0: Anna Cornell tossed a one-hitter with 13 strikeouts and no walks as the Capers (4-0) shut out the Shipbuilders (2-2) in Bath.

Cornell, Esme Song and Kathryne Clay each hit a single and a double.

SANFORD, MASSABESIC SPLIT: Tori Parker hit a walk-off single to give Sanford (5-1) an 8-7 win in Game 1, but visiting Massabesic (3-4) salvaged a doubleheader split by taking an 8-4 victory in Game 2.

Parker, Hannah Mueller and Ruby Lachance all had two hits for Sanford in the opener. Ella Donovan and Casey Morais got two hits apiece for Massabesic.

Katelyn Boissonneault and Ella Barden paced Massabesic’s 11-hit attack in Game 2. Sanford was led by Lachance and Madison Romano with two hits each.

LACROSSE

GREELY 19, BRUNSWICK 1: Carley Ferentz scored six goals and added three assists to power the Rangers (3-2) past the Dragons (3-2) at Brunswick.

Charlotte Taylor contributed four goals and an assist, and Elsa Dean-Muncie added three goals and three assists. Abby Taylor and Allie Read chipped in with two goals apiece.

Kiki Dinsmore was the goal scorer for Brunswick.

FREEPORT 9, MARANACOOK/WINTHROP 4: Megan Driscoll had four goals and one assist, and Kate Tracy finished with three goals and two assists for the Falcons (3-0) against Maranacook/Winthrop (1-1) in Kents Hill.

Meredith Feller scored Freeport’s other two goals.

LAKE REGION 10, NORTH YARMOUTH ACADEMY 7: Shauna Hancock recorded four goals and assist, and Katie Keenan had three goals and three assists for the Lakers (3-2) in a win over the Panthers (3-2) at Naples.

Rebecca Caron chipped in with two goals. Lake Region goalie Gwen Gagnon made nine saves.

Maggie Holt paced NYA with three goals and an assist. Natalie Ferrell scored twice.
