GORHAM — Windham held Gorham to nine points in the fourth quarter and held on for a 53-48 win in a girls’ basketball game on Saturday.
The game was tied at 39-39 after three quarters.
Kylie Flanders scored 17 points and Sarah Talon added 15 for the Eagles (3-4).
Olivia Michaud had 15 points and Brylee Bishop 11 for Gorham (6-4).
MASSABESIC 56, BONNY EAGLE 50: Marissa Holt scored eight of her 19 points in the fourth quarter as the Mustangs (10-1) overcame a seven-point deficit with three minutes left to beat the Scots (1-4) at Standish.
Mary Duffy made three 3-pointers and finished with 14 points for Massabesic.
Emily Bartash led the way for Bonny Eagle with 19 points.
BOYS’ BASKETBALL
YARMOUTH 64, GREELY 31: Three players scored in double figures for the Clippers (8-2) scored in their win against the Rangers (3-7) in Yarmouth.
Peter Psyhogeos led Yarmouth with 15 points. Matt Waeldner added 14 points and Cam Merrill had 13.
Greely’s Luke Gabloff scored a game-high 18 points.
WAYNFLETE 57, OLD ORCHARD BEACH 33: Chris Saade scored 13 points as the Flyers (6-2) beat the Seagulls (4-4) in Portland.
Jared Johnson added 12 points and Henry Hart finished with 11, including three 3-pointers, for the Flyers.
Ryan Crockett had 12 points for Old Orchard Beach.
OXFORD HILLS 67, GRAY-NEW GLOUCESTER 59: Hayden Paine scored 19 points as the Vikings (7-5) beat the Patriots (6-4) in Paris.
Teigan Pelltier added 14 points, including four 3-pointers for Oxford Hills.
Wyatt Kenney scored 23 points and Anthony Prescott had 11.
PINE TREE ACADEMY 62, ST. DOMINIC 55: The Breakers (2-2) leapt out to a 19-7 first quarter margin and cruised to an easy victory over the visiting Saints (3-10) at Freeport.
Ricky Morales and Aimable Nkurunziza dropped in 23 points apiece for Pine Tree Academy.
Alex Willings led the way for St. Dominic with 25 points, while Noah Cyr tossed in 10 points.
SOUTH PORTLAND 80, CAPE ELIZABETH 55: The Red Riots (7-2) opened with 31-15 first quarter margin and pulled away to a 48-27 halftime lead as they downed the Capers (6-6) at South Portland.
Mayen Ayuel had 19 points for South Portland. JP Estrella had a double-double with 17 points and 16 boards, while Jaelen Jackson added 11 points, 10 assists and four steals.
Dylan Swift scored 30 points, all on 3-pointers, for Cape Elizabeth. Nathan Mullen added 10.
GIRLS’ HOCKEY
BRUNSWICK 6, GREELY 3: Hannah Wilkoff scored with assists from Elena Palmer and Celeste Braillard halfway through the second period to break a 2-2 tie and start a string of three straight goals for the Dragons (3-6-1) as they beat the Rangers (0-5) at the Family Ice Center in Falmouth.
Greta White, Mia Klimash, Molly Taub, Braillard and Palmer all scored for Brunswick.
Emma Williams, Kerry Robers and Carly Asherman were the goal scorers for Greely.
ST. DOMINIC/WINTHROP/GRAY-NG 3, WINSLOW/GARDINER/CONY/MESSALONSKEE 0: Emma Roy scored two goals to pace the Saints (5-3) past the Black Tigers (0-3) in Auburn.
Roy scored the lone goal in the first period, assisted by Lily Beauchesne. Madi Pelletier added a goal 40 seconds into the second period, with an assist from Giselle Ouellette, and Roy rounded out the scoring midway through the middle frame. Abbie Ross and Autumn Clark had the assists.
Mady Boulet earned the shutout in goal for the Saints, while Emma Michaud was in goal for the Black Tigers.
VOLLEYBALL
SANFORD 3, MASSABESIC 2: Kora Eckelman had 12 service points and three blocks as the Spartans edged the Mustangs in five sets in an opener in Sanford.
Sage Study had 10 kills, Lillian Findlan eight kills, Tori Lawrence 14 digs and Grace Davie 18 assists for Sanford.
