WESTBROOK — Nathan Mullen scored 16 points and Cape Elizabeth made a total of 12 shots from 3-point range en route to a 65-47 win over Westbrook on Monday.
Dylan Swift hit four 3-pointers and finished with 12 points for the Capers (4-3)
Ben Eugley and Kyle McKone each scored 11 points for Westbrook (0-4).
BRUNSWICK 46, MT. ARARAT 38: The Dragons jumped out to a quick 13-2 lead after the first quarter and never looked back, stretching their lead up to as many as 17 points in the third quarter and rolling to a win over the Eagles.
Evan Kilfoil and Thomas Harvey paced the Dragons with 10 points each while Wes Cooper added eight.
Senior guard Jace Hollenbach led Mt. Ararat with 16. Ty Henke added seven and Carson Taylor had six.
GRAY-NEW GLOUCESTER 64, LAKE REGION 51: Jay Hawkes hit three 3-pointers and finished with 25 points as the Patriots (2-2) beat the Lakers (1-5) with a strong fourth quarter in Naples.
Gray-New Gloucester entered the final period trailing 43-41, then outscored the Lakers 23-8.
Terell Claxton put up 10 points for the Patriots.
Evan Willey posted 18 points for Lake Region, and Liam Grass added 12.
GIRLS’ BASKETBALL
CAPE ELIZABETH 51, WESTBROOK 34: Emily Supple scored 16 points to lead three Capers in double digits in a win over the visiting Blue Blazes in Cape Elizabeth.
Emily Goulding added 11 points and Meghan Conley finished with 10 for the Capers (2-3), who outscored Westbrook 26-12 in the second half. Alison Gerety and Olivia Manning each had seven points.
Sarah Muka led the Blue Blazes (0-3) with 15 points, while Julissa McBarren added nine.
