WATERBORO — Micaela Jacobs hit a jump-hook from the low block with .7 seconds left in the game Thursday to give Massabesic a 59-58 girls’ basketball win over Gorham.
Jacobs finished with 13 points for the Mustangs (4-3), who got a game-high 19 points from Marissa Holt. Satyra Duong added 11 points and Grace Frechette had 10.
Anna Nelson put up 14 points to lead Gorham (3-4), and Olivia Michaud followed with 13 points.
BRUNSWICK 56, FALMOUTH 52: Morgan Foster scored 19 points, including the go-ahead basket with 17 seconds remaining, and Alexis Guptill made two free throws with 3 seconds remaining as the Dragons (5-0) edged the Yachtsmen (5-2) at Brunswick.
Guptill finished with 22 points, 10 rebounds and three assists. Logan Brown chipped in with eight points, nine rebounds and eight assists.
Sloane Ginevan scored 20 points for Falmouth.
GRAY-NEW GLOUCESTER 38, FREEPORT 33: Jordan Grant had 14 points, Eliza Hotham added 11 points and the Patriots (5-1) outscored the Falcons 14-8 in the fourth quarter for the win in Gray.
Caroline Smith had 15 points and Rachel Wall finished with 13 points for Freeport (4-2).
LAKE REGION 48, FRYEBURG ACADEMY 37: Shauna Hancock scored 16 points to lead the Lakers (1-4) over the Raiders (1-5) in Fryeburg.
Elizabeth Smith added 12 points and Shelby Sheldrick finished with 11 points for the Lakers.
Kayrin Johnson had 10 points with six steals, and Maddie Darling and Katy McIntyre each had six rebounds and combined for 12 points for Fryeburg.
YORK 60, CAPE ELIZABETH 46: Nina Howe had 20 points, including three 3-pointers, as the Wildcats (3-3) handled the Capers (2-4) in Cape Elizabeth.
Rose Pavuk had 11 points, Emily Rainforth had nine points and Kristen Laroux had eight points for the York, which opened with a 17-8 run and closed with a 15-4 rally.
Karli Chapin and Emily Goulding each had 13 points, and Emily Supple chipped in 12 for the Capers.
GREELY 65, YARMOUTH 56: The Rangers (6-0) took a 20-7 lead after one quarter and extended their margin to 38-20 at halftime, paced by 16 first-half points from Camille Clement, as they defeated the Clippers (5-2) at Yarmouth.
Clement finished with a game-high 22 points, including six 3-pointers, Brooke Obar tossed in 13 points and Katie Fitzpatrick added 11.
Margaret McNeil had 21 points, with six 3s, for Yarmouth, Katelyn D’Appolonia added 11 points.
CHEVERUS 58, DEERING 38: Madison Storey scored 20 points and Lauren Jordan added 11 as the Stags (5-2) jumped to a 25-8 first-quarter lead over the host Rams (0-6) at Portland.
Kaylee True-Magee led Deering with 10 points.
SANFORD 56, NOBLE 42: Paige Cote had a game-high 23 points, and Hope Tarbox had 15 as the Spartans (2-6) topped the Knights (5-2) at North Berwick.
Olivia Howard and Amy Fleming each put up 12 points for Noble, with Fleming adding five steals. Hannah Drew scored 10 points.
WESTBROOK 63, BIDDEFORD 38: Natalie LaBrie dropped 19 points and Elizabeth Cole followed with 17 as the Blue Blazes (1-5) beat the Tigers (1-4) at Westbrook.
Ariana Alcide scored five points and grabbed 14 rebounds for Westbrook.
Chantelle Bouchard paced Biddeford with nine points.
WELLS 68, WAYNFLETE 33: Franny Ramsdell scored18 of her game-high 23 points in the first half to power the Warriors (5-1) over the Flyers (0-5) at Wells.
Wells jumped a 24-5 lead after one quarter and extended the advantage to 47-16 at halftime.
Grace Boucher had four 3-pointers and finished with 14 points for Wells, Grace Ramsdell added 13 points and Mallory Aromando tossed in 12.
Margaret Ojut and Kilee Sherry had 12 points each for Waynflete.
PORTLAND 50, LEWISTON 20: Amanda Kabantu, Elizabeth Yugu and Kiera Eubanks scored 11 points apiece as the Bulldogs (6-1) cruised to a 31-9 halftime lead over the Blue Devils (1-5) at Portland.
Davina Kabantu helped with eight points and 11 rebounds.
MARANACOOK 48, OCEANSIDE 43: Gabrielle Green had 18 points and 12 rebounds to lift the Black Bears (4-3) to a win over the Mariners (5-3) at Readfield.
Amanda Goucher added seven points for Maranacook.
Oceanside was led by Grace Woodman with a game-high 25 points.
KENNEBUNK 43, MARSHWOOD 33: Emily Archibald scored 24 points and grabbed 18 rebounds as the Rams (4-2) beat the Hawks (5-2) at Kennebunk.
Archibald accounted for over half of Kennebunk’s points, with nine coming in a crucial third-quarter run. Isabelle Okwuosa added six points.
Casey Perry’s nine points led Marshwood.
POLAND 38, SACOPEE VALLEY 25: Emma Bunyea scored 14 points and Allison Ferland had 11 points as the Knights (2-4) used a 17-1 third quarter to pull away from the Hawks (4-3) at Hiram.
Kylie Day scored 12 points for Sacopee Valley.
CONY 62, MEDOMAK VALLEY 54: Julia Reny scored 19 points to lead the Rams (3-5) over the Panthers (4-4) at Augusta.
Raegan Bechard added 12 points for Cony.
Abby Lash led Medomak Valley with 14 points.
MESSALONSKEE 79, NOKOMIS 35: Gabrielle Wener had 30 points and had eight rebounds to lead the Eagles (5-3) to a win over the Warriors (4-3) at Oakland.
Jordan Devine scored 13 points, and Grace Wener had eight points and seven rebounds for Messalonskee.
Maya Cooney and Alexys Mayhew each led Nokomis with eight points.
OAK HILL 45, SPRUCE MOUNTAIN 23: The Raiders (5-2) jumped to a 12-3 lead after one quarter and led 25-6 at halftime en route to a win over the Phoenix (2-5).
Desirae Dumais scored a game-high 15 points, including seven free throws, for the Raiders. Audrey Dillman added 13 and Anna Beach contributed seven.
Mariyah Fournier topped the Phoenix with nine points.
RANGELEY 68, TEMPLE ACADEMY 27: Winnie LaRochelle scored 28 points to lead the Lakers (8-0) over the Bereans (3-3) at Rangeley.
Olivia Pye scored 17 points, and Ellah Smith added 12 points for the Lakers.
Hannah Hubbard led Temple with 15 points.
MT. ABRAM 41, DIRIGO 40: Kaylee Knight had a game-high 16 points including the winning 3 as the Roadrunners (3-4) beat the Cougars (1-5).
Madison Phelps had 13 points for the Roadrunners.
Mt. Abram switched from a zone defense to man-to-man in the fourth that was a key to the victory.
Grace Robbins led the Cougars with 15 points.

SCARBOROUGH 1, YORK/TRAIP/MARSHWOOD 0: Ashley Farrington scored off an assist by Meagan Donovan, and Ariella Swett made 11 saves as Scarborough (10-1) edged York/Traip/Marshwood (3-8) at Dover Ice Arena.
Erin Gray made 45 saves in the loss.
