BATH — Art educator Jackie Johnson will present a print-making workshop for teens from 3-5 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 28, at the Patten Free Library.

The workshop is free, open to students in grade six through 12, and will take place in the library’s Community Room. Space is limited, however, and pre-registration is required.

“This will be a fun, make-and-take program,” said Johnson. “We’ll cut linoleum blocks, print in wild colors, and end up with beautiful artwork for gift cards and other creative uses.

“I love making art and the library is the perfect, comfortable spot for inspired self-expression,” she added. “This is the first in a series of art events for students.”

Instruction and all supplies are provided, and light refreshments will be served.

To register or for more information, contact Pam Barry at 443-5141 ext. 12 or email pbarry@patten.lib.me.us.
