The Chocolate Church Arts Center will offer Christmas music passes for veterans and their guests.

The program, sponsored by the American Legion Post 21 in Bath, will provide complimentary tickets for veterans and a guest to attend their choice of holiday performances at the Chocolate Church Arts Center, 804 Washington St.

“The leadership of American Legion Post 21 decided to pursue this opportunity to help brighten the holiday for local veterans,” said Jennifer DeChant, executive director of the Chocolate Church Arts Center. “The economy is tough but the Christmas Music Pass helps reduce barriers to enjoying live music and entertainment.”

Passes will be distributed through the Post and are redeemable for one of the following concerts: Irish Christmas in America, Dec 7; or Sweetback Sisters Honkytonk Christmas, on Dec 14. All shows begin at 7:30 p.m.

“An Irish Christmas in America” features the vocal group Lumiere, as well as dance and fiddle music. Tickets are $28 in advance, and $32 at the door.

Next Friday, the Chocolate Church will feature Lauren Crosby at the Friday Night music jam. Tickets are $10 for adults, $8 for students.

And on Saturday, the Sweetback Sisters will perform “Honkytonk Christmas,” a “renegade retro band that mixes up country, swing, and honky tonk.”

Tickets are $12 in advance, and $15 at the door.
