PHIPPSBURG — Albion Eugene Flemings, age 85 of Woolwich died at the home of his brother Gary on Sunday, January 15th after a long illness. He was born on August 10, 1926 in Lubec, ME the son of Vernard and Marietta (Bennett) Flemmings. They moved to Bath, ME in 1930 and he attended Morse High School. At age 17 he joined the Navy, from 1943 to 1946. Graduated MVTI in Augusta and worked in the Electric Shop at B. I. W. for ten years. He married Gloria ( Harkins) Robichaud 1962 and they moved to Florida in 1963. When Albion retired in 1989 he moved back to Maine.

Albion was a quiet man who enjoyed driving around Maine and attending Flea Markets. He loved collecting paintings, antiques and history books. Family and friends could always depend on

Albion to help with repairs and building projects.

He was predeceased by his wife in 1972. Survivors include two sisters, Barbara Small of Bath and Margaret Bailey of Woolwich, and one brother and wife Gary and Pauline Flemmings of Phippsburg, two aunts, Grace Fortier and Erma Berry of Bath and many nieces and nephews.
