FREEPORT — L. L. Bean will host its annual spring fishing weekend Friday through Sunday, featuring a full schedule of free fly-casting lessons, demonstrations, and clinics and seminars with fishing celebrities.
Tyler Befus, a 14-year-old pro staff team member of the Ross Reels, Scientific Anglers, and Simms teams will run a presentation as part of the weekend that also includes appearances from Bill Gorman, host of the L.L. Bean Guide to the Outdoors television show and grandson of L. L. Bean founder Leon Leonwood Bean.
Fly-fishing authors Lefty Kreh, Lou Tabory and Chris Santella will also be on hand for the event’s 22nd annual year.
