TOPSHAM — The Mt. Ararat High School boys lacrosse team opened its season on Thursday, falling to rival Brunswick, 14-2.

Owen Kelly and Haden Libby each picked up a goal for the Eagles, 0-1 and slated to take on Messalonskee at Thomas College in Waterville on Wednesday.

First-time Mt. Ararat goaltenders Will Furgeson and Jacob Hirsch combined on six saves.
