MID-COAST PRESBYTERIAN CHURCH is planning a Spring Tea on May 12. From left are Bob Estus, Elaine Brown and the Rev. Diane Hoppe Hugo.
The menu will feature assorted finger sandwiches, white cheddar scones, grapefruit curd and herbal butter. “A variety of delectable desserts and featured teas will complement the meal,” states a release from organizers.
“An array of special teas, chosen by our own Linda Estus, former owner of a successful tea house, will complement the meal. Local musicians will provide a musical interlude for your enjoyment,” the release states. “This tea is not for women only. Children, grandkids, men, etc., will find this a most enjoyable time.”
Advance tickets are $12.50 for adults and $6.50 for children younger than 12. Reservations can be made by calling the church office at 729-3193. Tickets at the door will be $15 for adults and $7 for children.
