Celebrating seven years of performing, Hearts Ever Young will take center stage at Lincoln Theater in Damariscotta, with a production of “A Toast to Broadway.” The cast will sing and dance to songs from Broadway musicals.

Starting in 2010 as a nonprofit, Hearts Ever Young has gathered a troupe of area residents ranging in age from nearly 65 to 95 and above – both with and without previous theater experience. With the contributions from underwriters, sponsors, and donors, the HEY troupe has performed original designed productions for the community every year since.

For this June production, HEY has been rehearsing weekly since October at the Assembly of God Church in Damariscotta. Under the direction of Music Director Sean Fleming, with his accompanying band The HEY Makers, the cast musicians, the chorus of over 45 participants, soloists, duets, and ensembles will sing and dance to a variety of songs from productions such as “South Pacific,” “The Lion King,” “Oklahoma” and more.

The cast members for this event are Gianina Ames, June Bourne, Melba Boynton, Becky Brown, Theresa Burrill, Karen Carr, Cris Cunningham, Susan Day, Lynn Drewette, Pat Erb, Clara Fagan, David and Janet Fields, Peggy Gaglione, Bob and Val Gorrill, Carolyn Gray, Judy Groves, Ann Guild, Amelia Hagen, Jenny Hardina, John Harris, Tom Justice, Charlie Kettell, Sally Kinney, Barbara Klein, Eleanor and Bob Krause, Sandra Lane, Ann Leavitt, Patricia Lepak, Carolyn Maunz, John O’Connor, Marianne Pinkham, Susanne Raynor, Catherine Rolerson, Jane Shields, Janice Sprague, John Strong, June Trotter, Joe Vitti and Janet Yates.

Producer /Artistic Director Carol Teel, Assistant Producer Carolyn Maunz, Choreographer Carol Cirigliano, Fleming, and the cast of HEY invite the public to this event.
