LADY LAKE, FL — Alan Bradley died June 17, 2012 at 87 years old, in The Villages, Florida. Born Aloysius Bohunicky in Binghamton, on April 11, 1925 to Paul and Katerina Bohunicky.

He was a Marine in WW II, driving an amphibious tank in the 3rd Amphibious Corps.

Alan was married to Loretta Kirch of Binghamton, in1946 until she passed in 2009.

He is survived by three children: David Bradley of Portland, Karen Bradley of Chicago, and Susan Bradley- Dryer of Freeport, plus grandchildren Christie and Austin.

Alan graduated from Harper College in Endicott, N.Y. and attended law school at Sienna College. He worked as an insurance adjustor for Allstate N.Y., and in Portland, after moving to Maine in 1970. For 22 years, Alan and Loretta owned and ran the Captain Josiah Mitchell House Bed and Breakfast in Freeport. Alan was a Deacon for St. Jude’s Catholic Church in Freeport.

Alan will be lovingly remembered by his children and grandchildren. Alan and Loretta will be buried in the Bushnell Veteran’s Cemetery in Florida, with Marine Corps honors.
