BRUNSWICK- Patrick (Pat) Owen, 68, of Topsham unexpectedly passed away on August 8, 2012 at Parkview Hospital.
Pat was born in Brunswick on March 17th, 1944, the son of Harold H. Owen, and Verlie Thibeault.
He was a member of the NRA and NAHC. Pat was an avid hunter. He enjoyed hunting bear, deer, and moose, sight-seeing and scouting wildlife, watching hunting programs and Jimmy Swaggart on TV, four wheeling, camping, snowmobiling, and spending time with extended family at their camp on Cobsocontee Lake.
Pat worked at Auerbach Shoe, and retired after 25+ years from US Gypsum in Lisbon Falls, ME.
He was predeceased by his parents, three brothers Paul Owen, Harold Owen Jr., and Walter Brooks, and a sister Dianne Blanchette.
Pat is survived by his partner and love of his life Margaret Kelley; his daughters Cindy Hartford and husband Ron Hartford (son-in-law) of Leeds, Jessica Salisbury and spouse of Bangor; brothers Norman Owen, Robert (Ki) Owen and Richard Owen; sisters Judy Colarusso and Carol (Tessie) Ciciotte; 2 granddaughters: Morgin Hartford, Ruby Salisbury. 3 grandsons: Charles Kelley Jr., Patrick Kelley, Sr. (spouses Tonya & Alexandria), Ashton Salisbury. 2 great-grandsons: Charles Kelley III, Patrick Kelley, Jr. and several nieces, nephews, friends and lifelong best friend Maurice Bernier.
Visiting hours will be held on Tuesday, August 14, 2012 from 1-3 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. at Funeral Alternatives, 25 Tampa St. Lewiston, ME
