ALNA — Come join the WW&F Railway Museum in celebrating Sheepscot Valley’s narrow- gauge railroading history on Saturday, September 27. Trains will depart from Sheepscot Station in Alna from 10 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. with special events including steam-train rides, Model AA truck rides, Model T Rail Car rides, hand-car rides, children’s games, pumpkin patch, pumpkin painting, bluegrass music, light refreshments and more.
Tickets are $7 for adults, $6 for seniors and members, $4 for children under 12 and children under 3 are free.
Special events remaining in 2014 are the annual work weekend Friday, October 10 through Monday, October 13 and the Victorian Christmas Celebration Saturday, December 20, 2014.
Directions: WW&F Railway Museum is located at 97 Cross Road in Alna, Maine. From Rte. 1 in Wiscasset Village take Rte. 218 north 4 1/2 miles to the Cross Road, take a left at the Cross Road. Sheepscot Station is located at the bottom of the hill on the right.
