LITCHFIELD — Bertha E. Rideout, 87, resident of Purgatory Drive in Litchfield, died Saturday, Sept. 27, 2014, at her cottage on the pond. Visiting hours will be held from 11 a.m. to noon with a funeral service following immediately at noon on Tuesday, Sept. 30, 2014, at Brackett Funeral Home, 29 Federal St., Brunswick. Interment will follow in Woodlawn cemetery in West Bowdoin.
