MOIRA SMILEY AND VOCO (Emily Eagan and April Guthrie), a trio from California, will perform in concert at 4 p.m. Sunday at Johnson Hall, 280 Water St., Gardiner. They play cello, banjo, accordion, ukulele and body percussion. “They beautifully warp old American shape-notes, sizzling hambone, and strains of Eastern Europe with an avant-garde, experimental spirit, lush originals and warm wit,” a release about the concert states.
