Midcoast Printmakers are inviting you to experience the magic of using a printing press 6-9 p.m. Monday nights or 9 a.m. to noon on Monday mornings.

Monotypes are made by putting ink on a plate, then running it through the press to create a piece of art. $ 40 includes all materials and instruction. Contact Kay at 644- 8849 or midcoastprintmakersinc@ g mail.com for more information.

In addition to the monotype class, there is space available in the “Cabin Fever” printing class on Saturday, March 7. Call Debra Arter at 563-7100 for information. There will also be an Open House to introduce people to lithography using pronto plates on March 15 from 1-3 p. m. This is free and includes a demonstration, discussion, and refreshments.
