PAT COLWELL, right, and his brother, Bob, will be per forming tonight at Johnson Hall.
Bob and Pat Colwell are famous for their electrifying live performances and their new album captures every watt of that energy on record, states a news release from the venue. “Blues/soul and R&B is their wheelhouse and the brothers and their band of studio veterans, Dickie “Doo” Hollis, Justin Maxwell and “Doctor” Dave Wakefield, are wheeling it straight at you.”
Pat Colwell, the former speaker of the Maine House of Representatives, plays guitar and sings while Bob Colwell offers his New Orleans-flavored piano work and vocals. With a combined total of more than 50 years in the business, the brothers have worked with such bands as the Boneheads, Soul Sensations, the Radiators, and Inspectors; as well as opening for BB King, New Rhythm and Blues Quartet, Creedence Clearwater Revival, Rick Danko and Roseanne Cash.
