ENA, operated by Anita Huey, works with clients to help manage diabetes, heart disease, weight loss and other conditions.
She will be conducting cooking classes on a variety of topics, teaching people how to cook and offer classes on diabetes, pre-diabetes, weight management and other topics. Eventually, she expects to be preparing some meals that can be purchased to “take home” from the Center, establish regular hours at the Center, and, she hopes in the coming months, to add a cooking column in the People Plus News and share recipes with members.
People Plus has long fostered nutritional education as a need for seniors, and is delighted to partner with Huey. She may be contacted for more information at 504-6439.
