He was born in Dover, NH, on May 7, 1969, a son of Frank E. and Rachel M. (Cloutier) Johnson. In 1987, he graduated from Morse High School in Bath and completed tractor trailer driving school. He married Laurie Griskowitz and they had two children together, James and Jennifer. Craig was employed as a truck driver for various companies including Skillin’s in Brunswick and for over ten years at L.L. Bean in Freeport.
He was a member of the Mason’s in Bath and volunteered at the Arrowsic Fire Department.
Craig enjoyed fishing, hunting and golfing. In 2013, he got his moose permit and tagged a bull moose.
He is survived by his parents, Frank and Rachel Johnson of West Bath, his fiancée, Carole P. Longchamps of Bath, his son, James F. Johnson of Portland, his daughter, Jennifer C. Johnson of Portland, his brother, Erik A. Johnson and his wife Kelly of Woolwich, paternal grandmother, Alberta M. Johnson, of Valencia, CA, one nephew, Hunter Johnson of Woolwich, many aunts, uncles, cousins and lots of friends.
Visiting hours will be from noon to 2 p.m. on Saturday, March 28, 2015, at Daigle Funeral Home, 819 High St., Bath, with a Masonic service and a celebration of his life to follow at 2 p.m. also on Saturday at the funeral home. A gathering of family and friends will follow at a place to be announced at the service.
