She was born in Georgetown, November 10, 1915, the daughter of Byron and Grace Humphrey Campbell and attended schools there.
She married Paul Pierce in Bath, April 5, 1946. Mr. Pierce died in 1996.
Mrs. Pierce was employed at Bath Iron Works during WWII and later worked at area shoe factories.
In her younger years she enjoyed boating and reading.
She was a member of the Brunswick Church of the Nazarene.
Her son Christian “Jay” Deschaine died Jan. 5, 2012.
She is survived by a step son, Jim Cyr; a grandson, David Coffin and many friends.
A funeral service will be held at 11 am Thursday at the Brunswick Church of the Nazarene, McKeen Street, with Pastor Willis Young officiating.
Interment will be in the spring at Southport Cemetery.
