NEWCASTLE — Emily Mae Morris of Auburn and Bret Joseph Butterfield of Newcastle wish to announce their engagement.

Morris, daughter of Walter A. Morris and Mary B. Morris of Jefferson, is a 2008 graduate of Lincoln Academy and 2010 graduate of Central Maine Community College, and she is currently attending the University of Southern Maine. She is employed as a resident director at Central Maine Community College.

Butterfield, son of Randy and Becca Butterfield of Newcastle, is a 2010 graduate of Lincoln Academy and he is currently attending Southern Maine Community College. He is employed as a corrections officer and firefighter.

Their wedding is planned for June 8, 2013, in Old Orchard Beach.
