BRUNSWICK

New responsibilities can come with aging parents. A presentation tonight at Curtis Memorial Library aims to address those responsibilities and challenges.

The presentation, which starts at 6:30 p.m., is the third in a series called “Suddenly You’re a Caregiver.” The presentation will feature a panel including Brunswick Community Police Officer Terry Goan, speaking about driving and giving up the keys; Mid Coast Hospital dietitian Alison Fernald, who will talk about changing dietary needs; occupational therapist Kim Morin, from Parkview Adventist Medical Center, who will talk about home safety; and Brunswick Area Respite Care Executive Director Nancy Herk-Bott will talk about athome support services in the area.

The event, sponsored by the Community Health Information Partnership (CHIP), is free and open to the public at Curtis Memorial Library, 23 Pleasant St., Brunswick.
