Family Focus has appointed Robert B. Parlin executive director, group President Louis M. Ensel said.

Parlin joined Family Focus in 2009 as a teacher. In 2010, he was named program manager for the Bath center, and in 2011 a director of children’s services. He attended the University of Maine at Farmington and earned a B.S. in early childhood education, graduating at the top of his class, in 2008.

Parlin replaces Sheila Youmans, who joined Family Focus in 2002, and served as executive director since 2008.

Family Focus provides child care assistance for families that qualify.
