BRUNSWICK — The Coastal Humane Society of Brunswick is offering feewaived cats for adoption in its Fun in the Sun adoption promotion through Aug. 4.
The shelter has a high population of cats, both from typical high summer intake numbers but also from a recent hoarding situation.
The special waives the adoption fee entirely for cats one year of age or older. Bunnies are also fee-waived.
The shelter is also asking for donations of canned cat food, paper plates and wood pellets used for litter, to help support these cats.
The Coastal Humane Society’s adoptable animals are at 30 Range Road in Brunswick, open daily noon to 6 p.m. except Wednesdays. Call 725- 5051 for more information or visit www.coastalhumanesociety.org.
