DAMARISCOTTA — An exhibition of oil paintings by Bath artist Sarah Greenier will be on display at Savory Maine Dining and Provisions through Sept. 2.
Greenier, an award-winning oil and watercolor artist of quintessential Maine scenes and landmarks, grew up on Orr’s Island, studied graphic art at Pratt Institute in New York, and returned to Maine to work as a commercial artist for 10 years. In 1997 she began exhibiting and selling her paintings and prints at summer art shows throughout New England, where she won numerous awards. In 2006, she and her husband, Tom, opened a studio/ gallery next to their home in Bath, where she paints and teaches during the fall and winter months.
An opening reception will be held on Friday, Aug. 2, from 3 to 5 p.m., with beer and wine as well as finger foods.
